You will also receive an official warranty card which entitles you to the full, international manufacturer’s warranty.



The Trusted Shops seal is only awarded to online stores who have been approved according to over 100 different quality benchmarks. These include; creditworthiness, 100% trustworthiness, price transparency, customer service, and data protection.


The Visa and MasterCard Secure Code payment method uses a secure password protection feature, to ensure the best possible data security for your online credit card purchases.

Pay securely with PayPal. Your bank data is protected with the latest encryption standards when you use your PayPal account, and you will not be required to enter any of your card details directly. PayPal also provides additional customer protection, for extra safety.

Shipments to any address within the EU are free-of-charge, tracked and fully insured with either FedEx, TNT, or DHL Express. You will also receive a tracking number the moment your package has been dispatched for delivery. Warranty: All brand new watches come with the full international manufacturer’s warranty. You will receive an official warranty card, and this will enable you to visit any worldwide authorized concessionaire, should you encounter a warranty issue within the warranty period. Please note that your warranty card is dispatched 30 days after the date you receive your item, and this is due to the 30 day returns policy that we offer at Montredo. As soon as this time passes, our concessionaire will activate your warranty, and dispatch your card to the same delivery address as your order.


Money back guarantee: If for any reason you are not thoroughly satisfied with your purchase, you are able to return your watch for a full refund within 30 days of receiving it. Simply let us know of your wish to return within these 30 days, and we we will arrange for the collection of your item at no cost to yourself. Once your item has been returned to our concessionaire, you will be refunded the full amount for your order. Please note that your order must be returned in a new, unworn condition.

ORDERING



We ask all customers to register with Montredo, to ensure that all order updates are safely received. All we need is your name, home address, email address, and a password of your choice. It then only takes a few simple steps for you to place your order, however should you have any questions regarding the registration or ordering process, please contact our Customer Service team, and we will be more than happy to help you!

Very easily! Once you have chosen your watch, click the "Add to Cart" button and then "Proceed to Checkout". If you have not yet registered with us, at this point you will be asked to fill in all fields marked with an asterisk *. At the final part of the ordering process, you will be required to select your preferred payment method, and to review your information for any inaccuracies. Once you have placed your order, you will shortly receive an order confirmation email that includes the full details of your purchase. If you have not received this within 30 minutes of your order, please check your email junk inbox folder, or contact our Customer Service Team for further help. Before placing your order, please ensure that your desired payment currency is selected via the drop-down menu in the top-right hand corner of the Montredo website.

PAYMENT



We offer the following payment options at Montredo:


An online instant bank payment ensures TÜV-proven data protection. Please have your online banking data (PIN/TAN) at hand.


Pay securely with Visa or MasterCard credit cards. Your payment transaction is protected by an additional two-step password protection service, provided by both Visa and MasterCard Secure Code. This provides you with the best possible credit card data security for your purchase.


PayPal covers you with optimal online buyer protection. With a PayPal account, your bank data is protected by the latest encryption technology, so there is no need to enter your card details directly. You’ll be redirected to our webpage to complete your order after the authorization of your purchase.


When you choose the bank transfer payment option, you will shortly receive an order confirmation email which contains the full Montredo bank account details. This will enable you to process your bank transfer payment at your earliest convenience. Please note that your order will only begin to be processed once the full amount of your payment has been successfully received.

 


Fair. Safe. Immediate. Flexible. In cooperation with easyCredit, we now offer our customers financing options, to enable them to select convenient repayment structures for their Montredo purchase. This financing option is in partnership with the German TeamBank AG, which has repeatedly been awarded the "Fairness in instalment Credit" seal of approval.





Only our German-based customers of full age, who purchase a watch with a gross value of between 200 and 5,000 Euro, are currently eligible for the easyCredit instalment plan. The contract duration is freely selectable, ranging from 6 to 36 months, while the monthly minimum payoff rate amounts to 20 Euro.





At Montredo, we make every effort to ensure that our customers receive the most competitive prices available. However in some cases, we are also prepared to check if a further price reduction may be possible. To request this, simply select your watch and click on the "Make Offer" button. We will then contact our concessionaires to try to renegotiate on the final price, and we will aim to get back in touch with you within 2-3 hours. Alternatively, feel free to contact our Customer Service Team directly, and we will see what we can do! Please note that if the “Make Offer” button is not visible on the product page, then a further discount is not possible for that particular timepiece.



Since we are an online-only business, we do not have any high-street retail spaces. However if you wish to visit our Berlin-based office, please feel free to contact our Customer Service team to arrange an appointment. Please note that we do not carry any stock at our offices, however we can arrange for your order to be shipped to our address in Berlin for collection. Payment must also be made prior to your item’s arrival, via our website. We are unfortunately unable to accept cash payment upon the collection of your item.





WATCH INSURANCE



Together with our partner, simplesurance GmbH, we offer to all residents of Germany and Austria a watch protection service (https://montredo-stg.schutzklick.de/). This insures your watch against all kinds of dangers, whether it be external everyday damage such as damage by water or theft, and also against self-inflicted issues, such as an operating error or a fall to the ground.


The annual fee depends on the original price of your watch. Please note that it must be paid in advance for the 12-month contract period, after which the insurance is not automatically renewed, but can be booked for another 12 months. In addition, the Montredo watch insurance can be retroactively booked up to 6 months after your watch purchase.

Alternatively, you can choose a delivery address within the EU and export the watch yourself. No shipping costs will be charged, however the local VAT rate will initially be applied. You can then request for our Customer Service Team to include a VAT refund document alongside your order. Once you leave the EU with your item within 3 months, please have the airport customs desk stamp your VAT document and return it to us via post, and we will then be able to process your VAT refund. When travelling to a non-EU country, you will be requested by the local customs authorities to pay the local VAT of the purchase amount (without German VAT).

We will ensure that the relevant customs documents are included alongside your delivery. Your package will be prepared for a smooth customs process for delivery to any non-EU countries, with a fully completed customs declaration. Please note that any customs fees incurred in your country of residence will not be covered by Montredo. Please contact your local customs office for more information regarding any charges you may incur.


 

No, custom duties do not have to be paid for deliveries within the EU, and your local VAT is included in the price shown at the checkout stage. It will be as if you have ordered from an online shop in your country of residence. In the case of shipping to Sweden and Denmark, we have to consider the VAT difference between Germany and the respective import country, which can result in a price difference at the checkout stage. Needless to say, as soon as the delivery address has been selected, the correct price including VAT will be shown before placing your order.

Of course! As soon as your package has been dispatched for delivery, you will receive an email containing your delivery tracking number. This will enable you to safely follow the progress of your delivery.



 

Please be assured that your package is fully insured against any damage or theft that may occur during shipping. However in the unlikely event that you encounter any issues regarding your delivery, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will be happy to assist you.

All orders shipped to addresses within and outside the EU will be fully insured.



 

All orders are first delivered to our delivery depot in Berlin, Germany before being dispatched to your chosen delivery address. We source all our timepieces from authorized concessionaires based within the EU.



 

Whilst we are unable to adjust watch bracelets, your local authorized concessionaire will be more than happy to carry out this procedure for you. Please note that if your watch bracelet is adjusted and you wish to return your item within the 30 day returns period, this may have a small impact on the total amount of your refund.






GUARANTEE


How to Use your Warranty Card




All brand new watches come with the full international manufacturer’s warranty. You will receive an official warranty card, and this will enable you to visit any worldwide authorized concessionaire should you encounter a warranty issue with your timepiece within the warranty period. Please note that your warranty card is dispatched 30 days after the date you receive your item. This is due to the 30 day returns policy that we offer at Montredo. As soon as this time passes, our concessionaire will activate your warranty, and dispatch your card to the same delivery address as your order. In the extremely unlikely event that you encounter a warranty issue whilst you await your warranty card’s arrival, please contact our Customer Service Team straight away, and we will gladly assist you.


 

Repair and maintenance is carried out by the manufacturer in the case of faults or defects covered under the manufacturer’s guarantee. Please note that everyday wear is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.



 

Yes, every brand new timepiece offered by Montredo features the full international manufacturer’s warranty, and this will be valid at any worldwide authorized concessionaire.



 

In the event that you encounter a warranty issue with your timepiece within the warranty period, please contact your local authorized concessionaire to have your item inspected and repaired under the manufacturer’s warranty. Please also remember to bring along your official warranty card during your visit.



 

All new watches are dispatched in their official box along with all documents, accessories and user manuals. You will receive your watch as if purchased from your local authorized high street jeweller. Please note that your warranty card is dispatched separately, 30 days after the date you receive your item. This is due to the 30 day returns policy that we offer at Montredo. As soon as this time passes, our concessionaire will activate your warranty, and dispatch your card to the same delivery address as your order.



 



RETURNS


If you are not thoroughly satisfied with your order, simply let us know within 30 days of the reception of your item. We will arrange for a courier to collect the item free-of-charge, and once the timepiece is back at our concessionaire and they are happy with its condition, we will issue you a full refund for your purchase. Please note that Montredo are unable to refund any bank charges or currency conversion fees you may have incurred from your card provider. Please also note that we will only be able to accept returns in the same condition as received, and failure to do so may result in a fee, or a rejection of your return. Further information regarding your right to cancel your order can be viewed  here

As soon as we have received your request of cancellation via email within 30 days of the reception of your watch, we will collect the item from you at no cost to yourself. Within the next 14 days you will be refunded the full purchase price via the original payment method. The returns and refund process is completely free-of-charge. We are able to offer our timepieces at the best possible price due to our extensive network of authorized jewellers across the EU. Furthermore, since Montredo is an online-only store, we have no additional retail or storage costs, and we are able to pass these further savings onto our customers!




All of our watches are obtained from authorized jewellers based within the EU. As your watch will be sourced from an authorized concessionaire, we are able to guarantee the authenticity of your item and also provide you with the full manufacturer’s warranty.


 

As we are an online based store, we do not carry any of our own stock. However, thanks to our extensive network of authorized jewellers, we are able to fulfill the vast majority of orders within 1-2 weeks to an address within Europe. Please note that each timepiece will have its own unique estimate delivery time frame, which you can view on the product list page on the Montredo website.



 

 

This means we can guarantee the timepiece for the current price offered on our website. Please note that if the item is purchased by another customer, we may be able to offer the same piece under different conditions, for example with a higher price point, or a longer delivery time frame.
