Starting the new year with a bang: H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner
The Schaffhausen watch manufacturer H. Moser & Cie, headed by CEO Edouard Meylan, is always good for a surprise, as models such as “Swiss Icons Watch” or “Swiss Mad Watch” have demonstrated in the past.
The brand from the Swiss Rhine Falls begins 2020 with the launch of a new automatic chronograph, the “Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic.” The name was chosen in reference to high-speed trains of the 1920s and 30s.
Caliber HMC 902 from AGENHOR
The included caliber, developed in cooperation with the specialists from AGENHOR, is made up of 434 components and is called the HMC 902. Special feature: Although it is an automatic chronograph, the rotor cannot be seen because it is “hidden” between the movement and the dial. The result is a beautiful, uncluttered flyback chronograph movement with the appearance of a manual wind movement.

In contrast to the back of the watch, the fumé dial, so characteristic of Moser, has a minimalist design and draws attention to the four hands – two for the time and two for the chronograph. Another new feature is the ergonomic “wave” stainless steel bracelet that holds the 42.3 mm cushion-shaped case comfortably and securely on the wrist.
The new H. Moser & Cie Streamliner is limited to 100 pieces and sets you back CHF 39,900.
