Watches & Wonders 2026: This Year's Most-Hyped Watches – Now at Montredo!

Once a year, the watch world holds its breath for a week: Watches & Wonders.

If you're wondering what's actually behind the name and why everyone's suddenly talking about it, here's the short version – followed by the highlights that have made their way straight into our shop at MONTREDO.

What exactly is Watches & Wonders?

Watches & Wonders is the world's most important watch fair – the moment when the biggest manufactures unveil their novelties for the year. Founded in 2020 on the initiative of Rolex, Richemont and Patek Philippe, it has become the central stage of haute horlogerie. If you want to know where the watch world is heading for the year, this is the week to watch.

When did it take place this year?

The 2026 edition ran from April 14 to 20 at Palexpo in Geneva: four days reserved exclusively for trade and press, followed by three days open to the public. More than 65 brands presented their latest creations, accompanied by a full week of programming across the city center – from the Watchmaking Village to the Montreux Jazz Club right on the lakeshore. With over 55,000 visitors the year before, this was the largest edition of the fair to date.

This year's hype – now in our shop at MONTREDO

We took a close look at which models and lines generated the most buzz in Geneva – and we're happy to say: those exact watches are now available at MONTREDO.

IWC Pilot's Watch "Le Petit Prince" IWC's pilot's watch line was once again one of the most talked-about collections this year – its deep blue dial and emotional connection to the Little Prince have made it a modern classic. Available with us in several case sizes, from 36 to 43 mm.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41mm – 100 Years Celebration One of the most talked-about releases of the entire fair: Rolex celebrates 100 years of the Oyster case with a special Oyster Perpetual in Oystersteel and yellow gold, a 41 mm case, and the in-house calibre 3230 with 70 hours of power reserve. Water-resistant to 100 m and chronometer-certified – a true anniversary piece straight from Geneva.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Automatic Blue 41mm Sport and elegance in perfect balance: the Royal Oak in a 41 mm stainless steel case with a blue dial remains one of the most coveted watches in the industry. Inside, calibre 4302 delivers 70 hours of power reserve, complemented by a date display and a polished steel bracelet – a design that reaffirms its icon status year after year.

Vacheron Constantin Overseas Automatic Blue 41mm The Overseas combines sporting ambition with the finesse Vacheron Constantin has always stood for. A 41 mm stainless steel case, blue dial, calibre 5100 with 60 hours of power reserve, and 150 m water resistance make it an everyday all-rounder without ever compromising on elegance.
