A Sporty Diver and James Bond's Confidant: Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m
Due to a certain virus, many of us our now more or less a prisoner in our own homes. This can create a longing for more exotic locales, for example – to let yourself drift gently along the surface of the sea, letting the waves gently rock you back and forth, and to watch nearby fish at your own leisure (while you pray that not too much salt water will spill into your snorkel).

The more sporty amongst us strap on oxygen tanks and meet the fish at eye level. And for the more ambitious, we dive into the Mariana Trench and test whether the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean can actually withstand the water pressure at the deepest point of the five Oceans. The Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep Professional has really experienced and survived this journey to a depth of 10928 metres.

For all other types of immersion in the deep blue, one of the numerous Planet Ocean models is recommended. They usually withstand a water pressure of up to 60 bar and feature a valve to regulate the helium as standard. The certified master chronometer movements of the Planet Ocean 600m series with Co-Axial escapement, are also resistant to a magnetic field of 15000 Gauss.

These are certainly features and equipment that even someone of James Bond’s caliber can rely on, when he is once more on a mission to save the world in “Spectre”. We also eagerly await his next appearance in “No Time To Die”,
