Rolex Explorer II Reference 16570

The Rolex Explorer II reference 16570 is a 40 mm automatic dual-time watch in Oystersteel, with a fixed, engraved 24-hour steel bezel and matching Oyster bracelet. It is powered by the Rolex calibre 3185 automatic movement with approximately 50 hours of power reserve and features an independently adjustable orange 24-hour GMT hand, a date display without Cyclops lens, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and water resistance to 100 metres.

The Rolex 16570 is available in white ("Polar") and black dial configurations. It is fitted with the matching three-link Oyster bracelet. This reference was produced from 1989 to 2011, before Rolex increased the Explorer II case size to 42 mm with the following generation.
