The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 116500LN is a 40 mm automatic chronograph in Oystersteel, with a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel and matching Oyster bracelet. It is powered by Rolex's automatic chronograph movement with column wheel and vertical clutch, offering approximately 72 hours of power reserve, and features a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel with tachymetric scale, three chronograph counters, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and water resistance to 100 metres.

The Rolex 116500LN is available in numerous dial configurations, including black and white ("Panda"). It is fitted with the matching three-link Oyster bracelet. This is the predecessor full-steel generation, powered by the earlier calibre 4130, superseded in the current catalogue by the 126500LN.
