Louis Cartier drew the Tank in 1917 and the shape has not needed correcting since. This is the small model in steel, 29.5 by 22 mm and 6.6 mm thick, with a silvered dial, blued steel sword hands, and a beaded crown set with a synthetic spinel cabochon. Interchangeable black grained calfskin on a steel ardillon buckle, water resistant to 30 m. (Reference WSTA0042 / WSTA0042).
