The nickname was inevitable. The blue and black ceramic bezel of the GMT-Master II earned its superhero moniker the moment it debuted in 2013, and the name has never let go. The 126710BLNR is the current generation, refined with slimmer lugs, a more rounded case profile, and the upgraded Calibre 3285 delivering a 70-hour power reserve with a Parachrom hairspring. When Rolex relaunched this reference on the Jubilee bracelet, collectors coined a second nickname for that version: the Batgirl. The Oyster bracelet variant remained the Batman, and the distinction stuck.
The black dial reads with complete clarity, the blue 24-hour GMT hand tracking a second timezone in tandem with the bidirectional Cerachrom bezel. Tom Holland, Jason Statham and John Cena have all been photographed wearing one.
