The moonphase is a complication that immediately reveals itself to be a real attraction. Perhaps it’s the mystique that connects us humans to the moon, the only natural satellite that constantly revolves around the earth, or the sense of adventure that comes from a timepiece with this particular phenomenon – what is certain is that moonphases have always held a special place in the cosmos of watches and will certainly enhance any outfit.

A Unique Movement

CODE41 is known for the open hearts of its watches for over eight years. Now, the Swiss company based in Lausanne is embarking on a new adventure that reveals completely unique facets: the Moon INCEPTION is based on the C41-MP, a Swiss movement modified by CODE41 and based on a Sellita architecture that is synonymous with robustness and reliability. To make this movement unique, the Swiss watchmaker AJS was commissioned to develop one of the most realistic moon discs and an exclusive oscillating weight for this movement. The domed sapphire crystal, the precise movement and the practical features such as the 10ATM water resistance combined with the sophisticated design of colours, shapes and textures make this new timepiece very special.

Retro-classic Touch

The grained background brings to mind the surface of the moon, while the intertwined rings are reminiscent of its craters. The circles of the moon and the date form an 8, symbolising infinity, authenticity and the power of commitment. The retro-classic touch of the Moon INCEPTION and the possibility of customising the bracelets and colours make this watch a personal piece that radiates horological magic. COSC certification is offered as an optional extra, with a metronomic precision of -4/+6 seconds per day and an official certificate.

Pre-orders for the Moon INCEPTION will open in time for the first full moon of 2024, on 25th January, and will last for one full lunar cycle, until 23th February 2024.

Delivery is expected to take place in September 2024.
